Punchline Amund
Mayowa Ibidapo Amund, performing as Punchline Amund , is a music artiste from the streets of Agege in Lagos, Nigeria. Since gaining recognition with his cover of Cobhams Asuquo’s One Hit in 2018, the graduate of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has been on the path to being one of the biggest names in the Nigerian music scene.
His first project “Posh Agege Boy EP” was released in 2021 and it featured collaborations with Cobhams Asuquo and Parkhage, 2021 AliBaba Spontaneity Winner. The project received positive reviews notably a 9.8 score on Pulse and has garnered over 100,000 streams on all music platforms.
In 2022, Punchline Amund entered the Boomplay PTM competition and made top 2 and he has since then collaborated with the likes of MI Abaga, Magnito and Obesere, even successfully getting the real estate magnate “Sujimoto” on the remix of his song “Omo Agege”.
